This was my biggest and favorite project with the Wings. Creating the opening video for a professional team felt like a real career milestone. I was given just a few basic guidelines, but had a lot of creative freedom throughout the process, and I’m really proud of how it turned out. Here is how I made it.
For this piece, I had the chance to tell the story of the Wings helping Tyler fulfill his Make-A-Wish by building him an in-home gym. The project unfolded over a few weeks, from Tyler attending a game to the final gym reveal.
This is a commercial I created for one of the Philadelphia Wings’ sponsors, Homegrown 215. It was a really fun project that gave me a chance to further develop my directing skills. It also reminded me of the days when I used to make short films with my friends. Here’s a look at how I put it together.
This video features Wings player Mitch Jones visiting a local fire department ahead of Fan Appreciation Day. It’s a short piece, but a good example of the quick-turnaround content I’d occasionally produce for the Wings, Flyers, and Wells Fargo Center.
